W. Garth Jestley is a Director of the Middlefield Group and President of MCC. Prior to joining Middlefield in 1985, he was a Vice-President of Bank of Montreal and head of an international finance unit responsible for non-recourse lending primarily in the natural resource sector and, prior to that, was a Vice-President in the Corporate Banking division of Citibank N.A. Mr. Jestley is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Dean C. Orrico is Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Middlefield Capital Corporation. Prior to joining Middlefield in 1996, he was an account manager with The Toronto-Dominion Bank responsible for the borrowing activities of a portfolio of commercial accounts.

Groppe, Long & Littell (the Special Advisor), a Houston, Texas based oil and gas consulting firm, will be a special advisor to the Co-Advisors. The Special Advisor will be providing the Co-Advisors with analysis of the global economic and political forces impacting the prices of oil and natural gas.

Henry Groppe, the founder of the Special Advisor, will be the individual primarily involved in providing services on behalf of the Special Advisor to the Co-Advisors. Henry Groppe founded Groppe, Long & Littell in 1955. He has over 50 years of management, economic and technical experience in the energy field. Mr. Groppe was employed with Dow Chemical Co., Monsanto Co., Texaco Inc., and Arabian American Oil Company (in Saudi Arabia) before establishing the consulting firm Groppe, Long & Littell in 1955. The Special Advisor provides consulting services to government, corporate and private clients involved in the natural gas, refining and petroleum industries. During the past 25 years the firm has specialized in providing long range forecasts of major changes in oil and natural gas supply, consumption and prices.
