Investment products include closed-end funds, mutual funds, private and public resource funds, real estate funds and a venture capital fund. Associate, Sales & Marketing
Position:     Associate, Sales & Marketing
Timing:     Immediate
       
Position Description:
     
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing team to develop servicing strategies in order to effectively support regional and national sales efforts.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling of meetings, seminars, presentations and client events.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking industry practices; participating in professional societies, maintaining financial education.
  • Review and suggest updates to marketing materials, changes / modifications to website content and design.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
     
  • Recent marketing graduate with 2-3 years of related experience
  • Undergraduate marketing degree, with focus / major in Marketing
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Knowledge of the capital markets including the mutual fund industry and the investment advisor community is beneficial
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Successful completion of industry courses CSC/CPH (or willingness to work towards registration)
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
  • Golfer preferred as several tournaments hosted by the company
  • Strong self-starter/entrepreneurial approach
  • Travel required
 
Analyst, Corporate Development
Position:     Associate, Corporate Development
Timing:     Immediate

Position Description:
     
 

Work closely with the senior members of the corporate development team, providing support in respect of new initiatives and existing product development plans. Primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining financial models and client presentations for IPOs and existing products; monitoring the competitive landscape; and related administrative tasks.

   
Preferred Experience/Skills:
     
  • MBA or undergraduate business degree with 2-3 years of related experience
  • Ability to create financial models/cash flow projections
  • Very strong computer skills, specifically in the use of Excel (i.e. Macros, advanced functions, etc.), Word and Powerpoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, able to work independently
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the capital markets including the mutual fund industry and the investment advisor community is beneficial
  • Successful completion of industry courses CSC/CPH (or willingness to work towards registration)
