A TSX listed closed-end investment fund that invests in a diversified portfolio of high yielding equities with an emphasis on oil and gas trusts, supplemented by REITs and business trusts. To provide downside protection, STaRS has a forward agreement with CIBC pursuant to which CIBC will make a capital support payment of $5.00 per unit to the Fund on the termination date.
